Does anyone know where to get the small clips for the bottom cover?

These clips on my MacBook are broken and I am wondering if I can get replacement clips for them. I have looked online but I think I may not be using the right terms because I cannot find any results.

Other that recovering from a junker there really is no source. Back in the day we had someone with a 3D printer make I think 100 units we ran though most of them when I finally left.

If you have one intact you could try making a mold to cast them if you only need a few.

I believe they are called bottom cover receivers.

Thanks Dan. That is a bit disappointing as both of them are broken. Only reason I want to replace them is just because they barely engage causing the bottom cover to constantly pop any time the case gets pushed/flexed. I think I may just remove the receivers completely because I don’t really see much reason for them and the popping is annoying.

@thequacker - Don’t do that! These plastic pieces space out the bottom cover. A good bang can damage either of the SATA cables as the metal edges press into the cable and can puncture the cable.

The one nearest the drives is the more important one.

@danj Ah okay, definitely wouldn't want that. I guess I will just deal with it. Thank you.
