Which microphone is the problem? There are several on this device, but three that are of potential concern. There is one on the bottom edge of the phone, for phone calls, one near the rear camera for videos, and one in the receiver speaker for self cam videos (among other things).

i think all of them are not working. i cant get a conversation on a call or voice memos

@fazmattaz Those would both use the bottom microphone. What about taking video? Either with the selfie cam, or the rear cam? Do you get audio there?

This is a tricky one. Did you have to transfer the front camera/sensor array from the old screen to the new one? There is a microphone on that assembly that could conceivably have gotten damaged in the process of removing and replacing it. You'll probably need to open the phone back up again to check it. First thing to do is to verify that the connector going to the motherboard is good and doesn't have any bent or broken pins and there's no dirt or lint keeping it from making a good connection. Here's a picture of the connector you'll need to check.

If there are any bent pins on either the motherboard connector or the cable connector, you may be able to straighten them with some fine tip tweezers, but for broken or missing pins on the cable you'll just need to replace the assembly. It's cheap and doesn't have any bad effects on the phone from replacing it. If the pins on the motherboard connector are damaged you'll probably need to take it to a shop to have the FPC connector replaced.

Otherwise if it looks good, clean both sides with 90% or higher concentration isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol and reassemble it, being careful to ensure the connector is properly seated.

Retest and let us know what you find.

BTW, there is another microphone located on the charging port flex cable assembly, but if you were just doing a screen replacement I see no reason why anything you did should have affected that microphone or that assembly, so I'm somewhat discounting that as the problem at the moment.

It is most likely that while you were changing the screen you accidentally disconnected the small wires that go to the mic from the circuit board.

can you help me locate them so i can check on them please i have no idea where they are

The microphones are all connected to the motherboard with flex cables; there are no individual wires associated with them.
