My xbox sync button just doesnt work

Ever since i have replaced my hard drive with an SSD drive my sync button just doesn't work properly an since that is happening my TV is saying to connect your controller to your xbox but i can't because the sync button doesn't work and i have tried the suggestions and they don't work either so i need a really good helping
