Vertical strip of light on new screen replacements

Performed a screen replacement on my Google Pixel 7 Pro and now have an annoying strip of light down the right hand side of my screen. Rechecked the screen connector pins and socket, no debris or damage. Vertical strip of misbehaving pixels persists. Any advice before I return for another screen?
