side vent kit install requires drum removal

I have an electric Samsung dryer DVE53BB8700T. They offer a side venting kit (instead of rear), and it looks very easy to install AFTER you take apart the whole machine (remove face plate, drive belt, and drum). The installation instructions for the kit say to refer to the SERVICE MANUAL for the dryer for removing drum and drive belt first. But, Samsung says they don't release service manuals to consumers, only authorized repair centers. Why sell a branded kit in retail stores with incomplete instructions? Anyone have a lead on where I can find a service manual for this dryer to disassemble correctly without breaking the brand new machine? I'm a plumber, venting is easy, but I don't know every appliance in the world to open them up and then put them back together correctly.
