GL65 ms-16u7 screen and case replacement important foam?

So I have a msi leopard gl65 ms-16u7 and I am replacing the screen, front bezel, and back case due to a child raging out and slamming the lid closed. Most of the replacement is straight forward however the new back case come new no foam. And the old one has lots of foam inserts. I can not find these for resale. So how important are they? Should I leave them out? Try to remove them with ipa? I could really use some guidance from some fellow repairers.
