If your phone is no longer responding to the touch screen, then there is a very good chance the digitizer has failed; that's the layer of glass that detects your finger. Unfortunately the digitizer is fused to the LCD and cannot be replaced separately, so you'll have to replace the screen in order to fix a failed digitizer. Here is the iFixit guide showing you how to do that repair on your phone.

You can support iFixit's repair efforts by purchasing the replacement screen from them, or you can check around on sites like Amazon, eBay and AliExpress (among others) for the part.
