Water damaged watched, compass not working after fix

Hello,

I got a water damaged apple watch series 6 after a short swim in swimming pool.

I had to open and clean the watch as well as replacing the flex cable because the touch on display did not work.

I also had to remove a decoupling small capacitor in short due to corrosion that does not seems to be a reason for function alteration.

I also had to revive the battery that was drown to 0% percent due to the board short by using a power supply.

After reassembly, every other function seems to works.

But the compass is stuck on the red spinning radar.

I tried already all settings option known to be a problem following watch OS9 update. To no avail.

Based on SensorLog result, the API of the magnetometer of the watch only read either 0 or -1 for all of the value, looking like the sensor is missing or dead.

Does someone know where is the sensor(s) that are used by the watch to make the compass functional? Are some on the flex? Or all on the board?

Thanks for your help.
