Is there an issue with lcd in this model?

I disassembled my 10.5 for battery change and display came off really easily. Other parts not so much, but got the battery changed and then assembled the device back to find that the lcd part of the screen is now cracked.

I took it off as nicely as humanly possible. This is really strange.

Are the displays on these somehow flawed? I have had intermittent touch issue with mine. Well now it gets replaced.
