Have you tried a different set of head phones to rule out the other non working pair?

I did yes, it's definitely the audio port that has malfunctioned.
it could be dirty, if you have some isopropyl alchohol and maybe cover the port in it then plug it in and then rub it around it may work, if not try and flood the port then twist the port a lot and it might clean it and fix it
