Why my refrigerator did not stop?

Hi. A few days ago I have a repetitive grid failure. After that my HITACHI R-S37SVUK is undercooling in refrigerator part. Everything is in ice. Seems it did not stop. What part must be replaced?

Modern fridges have a lot of sensitive controls these days, electronics, etc. so they are very susceptible to even a very small surge, unlike the older, simpler models which were a bit more resilient. Here are some tips that might help resolve the issue:

  • Unplug the refrigerator for at least 10 minutes, then plug it back in.
  • Check the circuit breaker for the refrigerator. If the handle is halfway between on and off, the breaker has tripped.
  • Inspect the refrigerator for signs of electrical damage, particularly along the power cord.
  • Check the control board, which is the most sensitive component in the refrigerator.

Thank You for response. Now I am checking the control board. Look like that temperature sensors are OK. I suspect that electric dumper was burned out, but the windings of the motor ( I think it is stepper) are not damaged. What else can I check myself?

Check the control board voltages - Use a multimeter to test if the control board is providing the correct voltages to components like the thermistors, motors, etc.

Test the thermistors - The thermistors sense temperature. Test them for continuity.

Reset the control board - Unplug the fridge, wait a few minutes, and plug it back in.
