Hi, I have a craftsman T210. I recently just changed the belt and now it won’t start. It’s trying to crank. When I try and lower/raise the deck it’s veryyyyyy tight. It’s also tight when I try to engage the blade

Either the belt is on wrong or was infact to short to begin with. The belt may be rubbing against something and causing tou h drag on the engine for the starter to be able to spin it fast enough to start. Try taking the belt back off to see if it will start then.
