IFixit really needs to increase the character limit for titles...
Which Apple Watch models require you to transfer the NFC hardware after screen repair in order to have Pay work?

The pay tokens are stored within the NFC chip as such the NFC chip needs to be transferred physically or if you get a virgin display, then wiping the watch like you were selling it allows you to then to swap out the display and then going through the watch’s setup process as new.
I haven’t done it that way yet so I can’t tell you if that works and it may be limited to certain models. The highest watch I’ve done is Series 3 just moving the NFC chip.
