iFixit battery kit not charging

Hello, I installed an iFixit battery replacement kit into my MacBook Pro and it is not able to charge. Under the battery tab it says "Power source: power adapter", then underneath it says "Battery it not charging". Does anybody know why this is happening or what I can do to get it to work correctly? Thanks!

@lesliepatron could be a battery issue. Before anything else, contact customer service via email support@ifixit.com and see if they can make it right.
