SIM not being detected when fully inserted.

Good day, recently i started having problems where my pixel 6 pro wasn't "seeing" my SIM card when its fully insterted into the phone, it only sees and works when my sim card tray is not fully seated into the phone. what could be the probelm and how to fix it?
