I would like to know if I can either upgrade the existing SSD in this laptop and/or add a second SSD to a second slot.
I can't seem to find this information anywhere and I'm hesitant to open the computer to find out for myself.

Yes, there is. I also did not find any definitive info about second ssd, so I opened up by Book3 Pro (np960xfg-kc1us) and there is additional nvme m2 slot in the center, slightly angled.

Thanks for passing your findings along! I'm tempted to put a second SSD in my laptop but I'm worried about the difficulty of opening it. Can you tell me about your experience taking the base plate off? Like special tools needed or parts that I might break?

According to the guide (Galaxy Book3 Pro 16") It should have space for another SSD. If you see the FCC ID on your laptop you can also look at a tear down of the device the FCC did and look there.

I reached out to Crucial and after some searching they say that there is only the one slot. It does make sense but I had seen several sources claim a 2nd slot.
I wasn't able to use the FCC ID to find the specific laptop, only the wireless network card.
@skyraev oh ok, that's fine now that you know it only has one slot. It sounds like you still should be able to upgrade the storage. If you look for a bigger m.2 most are a standard size that will come up if you just look up m.2.

I was able to get confirmation that there are 2 NVMe SSD ports with a max of 1TB each.
I specifically was inquiring about the NP960XFG-KC1US version.

Can there be a memory upgrade?

I finally cracked my laptop open and there is indeed 2 SSD slots. I'm not positive but I think both slots will only fit single-sided SSDs.
I installed a 4TB Samsung 990 Pro in the second slot and used Samsung Magician to migrate the data from the Western Digital SSD that was installed in the laptop. Then I removed the WD drive, put the 990 in the primary slot and everything was back to working like before, just off the new faster, bigger drive.

@skyraev and you're able to use the full 4TB?? Customer support told me they capped out at 1TB, but they're also not incredibly knowledgeable about this stuff....
