What do I need to buy if it won't turn on?

First off, what's the history of this device? I'm going on the assumption that it's been sitting in a box for a few years and now you've pulled it out, dusted it off and are trying to get it to come to life. Is that close, or is there more to the story? Let us know, as that can affect how we go about figuring out how to bring it up.

So with that as the starting point, the first place to start is with the battery. All batteries have limited lifetimes and long periods of sitting discharged can kill them quite effectively. So a new battery would be my first purchase. Next, you'll want to try and verify the charger. That's going to be a bit of a pain, since it uses a 20-pin proprietary pinout on the charging port, so it might not be easy to figure out if it's working or not. You might try and locate a pinout for that connector and see if you can measure the voltage on the power and ground pins if you can figure out which ones they are. The charger itself should state what the output voltage is, so at least you'll know what you're looking for.

I'd say start there and let us know what you find then we can figure out what the next steps are once we're reasonably confident it's got power.
