iPhone 11 restarting when audio is played

Hello, yesterday night I droped my phone in the shower and it got a little bit wet, though everything worked normally.

This morning when I woke up I found out that the phone keeps restarting when audio is played. So the phone will work normally until I try to play a spotify song or a youtube video etc.

I don't trust the phone not bricking itself if I try to restore it, do you have any advice on how to handle this problem.

Kind regards

Checking diagnostics I found that there are several files dated today that show AOP PANIC - No pulse on 0x11200e0 - main(5). Though I am not sure of what does it mean.

Bluetooth audio works, phone calls work with top speaker, but bottom speaker does not work on phone calls, though I did not experience a reboot

@willmontaraces can you post the actual panic? Even the first screen's worth of text is usually helpful.

@flannelist I tried to open up the phone and seems like I applied too little heat and broke the screen, now I have a iphone that restarts itself and with a broken screen. I think it is too expensive now to repair and it is worth it to buy another one. Thanks for your help

Sounded like you needed a new charging port assembly. The speaker and microphone are located on the same ribbon. Before you broke the screen of course.

hello Pablo,

no, all of the above advice seems wrong to me.

damage of this type always carries with it specific behaviors, which you do not write about, and it is really difficult to overlook it. Therefore, I believe that there is a broken connection of the motherboard and/or a short circuit in the boost circuits for the audio chips (the iPhone has three to four chips related to audio processing, each of them can cause similar symptoms). If you're not into microelectronics, don't do it yourself. Find a good repair service and order the diagnostics. On the other hand, this hypothesis will be confirmed (because you don't provide anything to prove this fault) only by the start.log or em.log (which in the latter case does not have to be so certain).

If I'm right, in a normal working good repair shop it shouldn't cost much. The time needed to perform the diagnostics of this device is about 10 minutes, the repair time will be 30-40 minutes. Total, about one hour.

Call somwere, find out, decide... you will surely find such a place.
