Display Replacement i8 - will truetone be the only issue?

Hello There,

i'd like to know if a replacement display with restored trutone functionality done with a device as quianLi shows any kind of messages or flaws which identify them as non origin. (touchbutton and camera will be transfered from the original display)
For now i dont care about true tone but for reselling it i might consider restoring it to sell it more successfully in the future.

From what i gathered in the same topic regarding the iphone 11 Truetone isnt the only functionality that gets lost in a display swap with a third party display due to some IC on the curcuit board of the display itself.

I wonder if the iphone 8 has such an IC aswell and tells the logicboard if its counterfit (other than truetone).
