Why does my screen light up green and overheat when charging

Ok, so back in 2020, I had a Samsung Galaxy A11. It was the best phone I ever had. But sadly, I broke it badly because I didn’t really have a screen protector or a case. It worked fine a few weeks, but every time I turned it on, it flashed up a bright green, but would work normally after. The last time I remember having it, I tried turning it on, but it ONLY showed up green. And when plugged in, it would overheat fast. My mom thought it was gonna explode, so she got me an iPhone 11. But I just sorta miss my phone. How can I fix this without it costing so much dough?

@cakecore not sure what to much dough is. You want to start off by replacing your broken screen. Use something like this video to work on that. you can get a replacement LCD screen for your phone at places like this for a decent price. Looks like total repair might run you at about USD $60

You also want to replace the battery while you are already into the phone. After that, re-evaluate and see what you got.
