Keyboard and Touchpad functionality completely gone
My MacBook has recently stopped responding to any inputs from the keyboard or touchbar. I got it to boot into recovery mode once, but it won't do it anymore. I have also tried using an external USB keyboard with success for about 2 minutes before it stopped working as well. I can't get passed the login in screen anymore, and the backlight on the keyboard hasn't turned on either. The touchpad is completely functional, and the computer does respond to mouse inputs. I was just traveling in about 90 degree weather with a high humidity, could that have had an affect? I contacted apple, and they suggested I send the laptop in for repairs immediately. @thermalflame - Did your system have a liquid spill as some point?

@danj Maybe about 2 weeks ago, but it wasn’t for more than about 10 seconds and I immediately flipped the laptop over and dryed it off. It’s worked fine for the whole time in between until now
