Touch ID Button Stuck

I accidentally spilled a drop of ice cream on my touch ID button and now it is completely and utterly stuck. Doesn't move a millimeter. Tried my best with a cotton swab and some isopropyl alcohol but couldn't fix it. Is there a way to remove and clean that button? Thanks in advance!

Thank you for the answer! I couldn't find a guide on how to do that on this model. Could you point me to one maybe? Or does it work similarly as on older models? Thanks in advance! And sorry if this is a dumb question I'm new to any type of apple repair.

@booleanbill "MacBook Pro 16" 2021 USB-C Ports Replacement" get to step 53, then release the cable adhesive from the case, unscrew the 4 screws beneath the button, remove the screw and the back cover of the button carefully, then remove the button from the front I think.

Pay extra attention not to tear the cable, if you broke the button or the cable, only Apple can repair it.

Or wait for a while, Apple promised to add M1 MacBooks to the self-service repair initiative later this year, by that time you can order official parts and tools and initialize Touch ID button registration with the help from them.

@booleanbill - Be very careful! If you damage it or the cable thats the end of your system! Think it like throwing your car keys away!
