How do I fully disassemble a Surface Book Fulcrum Hinge?

Has anyone managed to fully disassemble the docking cable assembly from the surface book hinge? I took out all of the other hinge segments, but the last one has me stumped. I have removed all the screws from it, however I can't figure out how to free the docking cable assembly (pictured below). My best guess is that the long piece separated with a gap is a sticker or cover that comes off, either from prying, magnets, or something else.
