Handlebars misalign after turn

Every time I complete a turn the handlebars end up being misaligned with the front wheel. It seems the stem keeps turning after a turn. All boots seem tight

I have a similar problem, the front wheel rotates freely from the shaft and handlebars. Similar to how a old-school huffy would rotate if the hex bolt or the out nut is loose. Im trying to see how to separate the shaft or tighten whatever nut within it has come loose.

there are 2 spots on that, that might rotate. Either just the handle is rotating and the shaft is not, or both the handles and the shaft to the folding latch. You need to figure out why. The documentation is not clear enought for me to.

Thanks - after looking at it some more it seems the entire shaft is rotating as the turn is made

There are usually 3 bolts on the steering assembly. Two (1 either side) at the base of the handlebar column these are usually the ones to stop your issue. Slacken them both off then align the bars. Tighten one a few turns then the other. Continue tightening one after the other so effectively when done they should both be roughly the same torque. Check by looking at the gap between the bolts to make sure it’s even. The third bolt is underneath when the bars are folded down. This one stops the headset rattling.

Update (05/11/25)

If this doesn’t work you’ll need a new fork assembly
