Will not drive forward... only backwards after changing parts

I have a Toro 22” model 20339 FWD that I had to change out the front right wheel because the drive gear ate through the plastic gears on the interior of the wheel assembly… I ordered the only available parts as the apparently the original wheel assemblies are no longer available… gear and wheel assembly arrived and now, as I feared upon inspection of the new parts, the wheel drive backwards and will not pull forward.

Is there a way to change the traction direction easily? The mower only drives to the rear and that dog don’t hunt… Honda may get a new customer… thanks for any help.
