Broken off power plug on motherboard PS3 FAT

Hello, I ordered a replacement motherboard for my ps3, it was cheap because the seller broke off the power plug on the motherboard, but from the photos, I could see that I would be able to solder it back on. Well, I got the motherboard now and the pads are completely broken of the motherboard. Is it still possible to somehow solder it on or is it as good as dead?

Can I do something like this?

Edit:

I finished the repair, soldered the connector to the board just like in the picture above. Here are the results, I cleaned it up later, don’t worry. I had to modify the top plate slightly, due to the connector being moved up a little bit. I used dremel to do it. All in all it works fine and ps3 is powering on.

Solución Elegida

@stanroy you can solder to it by using the trace. Clear the green masking off it (I use a scalpel for that). Then solder a wire from the connector points to either the traces or the solder points that are still standing. The bigger issue here is how to support the connector itself since there is no anchor point left to solder to. I would consider some hot glue. No Crazy Glue etc.

@oldturkey03 Thank you very much for your reply. Do you mean something like the last photo I added to my question (don't know if I can add photo in comment)

@stanroy

On the second point from the left hand side you went to far. That one you would have to solder to the point (hole) just above the broken trace.

@oldturkey03 Again, thank you for replying. I changed up the photo for anyone else that might have the same problem. I'll be trying to repair it next week, I'll add my results to the current question and mark your reply as an answer. Have a nice day!
