the outlet. I ordered a new plug OEM B&D but the charger is still heating. Is the motor burning out? The noise level is high.

@katfomon1951 the charger only charges the battery not the motor. If the charger heats up excessively and it is a new charger, replace the battery inside your FHV1200 and then re-evaluate, You can always post some pictures etc. if you find some odd looking component or have trouble with the battery removal Agregar imágenes a una pregunta existente
Of course you also want to make sure that this is not related to a bad outlet where you plug the charger in. Try a different one.
