iPhone is only pullying maximum of 1.10 amps
I have an iPhone 6s that was having issues booting as it would hang on the Apple logo then I did a restore and it turns on now, however it’s only pulling a maximum of 1.10Aand tehn will jump to 0.8A then back to 1.10A. I tried a new battery and dock connector and it’s still pulling the same thing. I did some research from what I could find it’s supposed to pull 1.6A

@chryse let the battery totally discharge. After it pretty much is depleted, plug it in and measure the amperage at that time. Let us know what you get.

@oldturkey03 I tried that and it pulls 0.04a to 0.6a

Weird question but how are you measuring the amperage into the device?

@smashedliam I have a couple of those USB testers that measure the voltage and amperage

So do you have the adapter(power brick) plugged into the wall with the USB multimeter plugged into that, and the lightning cable coming out of the multimeter to the device? Would you be able to take some photos of the specific multimeter you are using or the method you are using to charge? In my experience some of the in-line USB multimeters won't charge any device over 1 amp due to the physical limitations of the multimeter, not the device or charging equipment.
