Why is my speedometer/odometer not working and check engine light on?
2016 Honda shadow phantom i recently replaced the battery as the old was completely dead. i had tried to start bike up several times before replacing now my speedometer/odometer is not working and my check engine light on. does this sound like a fuse issue / any advice?

2012 honda 1300 while riding noticed speedometer jumping, and slowly falling down to 0,then noticed engine light came on. Eased out of throttle a little for about 10 miles speedometer started to climb back up and started working again, road about another 10 miles to get home engine light still on, started going off and on. Could this be something simple, and is there a way to test or get code that I can do myself?
