Xbox 360 Wireless Controller Not Syncing PC

Hi, i’ve been given a Xbox 360 Wireless Controller wich does not sincronize wtih my Microsoft wireless receiver that a boutgh along with a controller 10 years ago. I know that the receiver is working because i play with my “first” controller without a problem.

When I press the X the only thing that does is blinking the 4 lights. Obviously i tried to pair it with both buttons, the receiver and the controller, but nothing happens. It just blinks over and over.

I thought maybe it just will pair up with a game console, but I don't know much about that.

Does someone have an idea of what is going on?
