Why is my laptop not charging?

I have an Acer v5-561-9677. Used to use it everyday for work. I left it in my case since my town started with the quarantine, so it spent around 6 months not being used. When I tried to use it again, it wouldn’t turn on so I plugged the charger, but it didn’t charge or turn on even if I removed the battery. A technician found no physical damage (short circuits, corrosion, etc). Now, I just noticed that the charger’s led blinks rapidly whenever it’s plugged to the laptop (it used to just stay on).

Any ideas on what might cause this?
