I don’t believe that is possible as Google has stopped building the updates you want. All chromebooks have an expiration date after which they stop providing support. Class action lawsuit anyone? Ifixit just published a blog post today that talks about this very topic and the fact that a couple of much newer chromebooks have just been announced to have a much longer support period than has been customary up to now.
