Trouble reattaching display cables

Hi!

I’m in the process of replacing the screen on my old iPhone 6. I’m almost done with the process, but the display connectors don’t seem to stay in place when I reattach them. They either pop off as I connect the next cable (there are 4) or don’t stay at all.

I worried that the replacement screen that I’ve purchased doesn’t fit. Videos I’ve seen don’t seem to go into detail about reconnecting these cables.

Any input would be helpful.
