Phone recognizes sim but displays Emergency calls only
hello,
i have an old flagship phone, the samsung a9 pro 2016 and it was water damaged a few months after getting it and wouldnt turn on. Moving forward a few years the phone gets to me i let it charge overnight and to my surprise it turns on.Every function works perfectly the phone functions but it won t let me use it as a phone, it just displays emergency calls only .It is also worth mentioning that the phone was made for china and it has no playstore, just some chinese mombo-jumbo. Could the water damage just the component responsible for calling and receiving calls?

thank you for taking the time to answer me, unfortunatedly airplane mode isn t the issue.
I am on a network called orange and i know for a fact that the sim works fine, it works perfectedly on other phones.
I have already been to orange and they said the only thing they could do is change the sim which is useless, I ll check the primary thingy
