Hi, I have a 2015 macbook retina running bluetooth 4.2. Does anyone know if it’s possible to upgrade to bluetooth 5? Thanks in advance

No, it is not. However, you can buy usb Bluetooth adapters that can do bluetooth 5.0

As Bluetooth 5 is so new are you sure you need it? Unless the device you are using requires it you should be fine with what you have.

Someone’s given a pair of Samsung buds+ Bluetooth earbuds and they seem to work with Bluetooth 5 but not 4.2 - only reason!
