my phone is working fine but no voice coming or going in phone call even i cant hear when i switch to speaker phone.i can record and hear recording through my mic is fine but why my sound is not reaching other person during call?plz any 1 can help me out

When recording, your speaker turns into a microphone as well to boost the overall quality and sound of the recording. However when you make a phone call, this option is disabled and the top microphone (right next to the earphone jack) is used for this purpose.
If i were you i would check the iPhone's limited warranty to see if you are still covered, and if so contact apple to organise a free replacement. If you aren't then you will have to do some extensive testing with various parts to diagnose the problem.

Tighten all the screws on the EMI cover, if no improvement try removing those screws and check the big screw under the emi panel, install all those screws and ops check your phone.
If still no improvement try cleaning the contacts on your logic board, Good luck.

Did this help? Is it working now? I have this same problem after changing display to iPhone 4. Everything else works, even Skype with internal speaker and external speaker, but phone calls does not work at all, in any direction. Connection is made and signal is strong, but no sound in either way. No improvement for me in tightening EMI shield - have to check logic board contacts next.
