Two questions to ask yourself before you start.

Do I want to start with a fresh install or clone my hard drive to new?

This is important because the both has different steps. Fresh install is the easiest because you create the boot drive and install windows after installing new drive but with the clone, you need a way to clone the old to new and will require more tools for this type of job.

I can guide you using the fresh install. You will need T5 screw driver and Philips and the new SSD. The SSD that it uses is NVMe M.2 SSD . You can get these on Amazon, eBay, newegg, etc. I recommend the Samsung Evo drives.

I actually found a video that can help you get in the machine, the user also posted a link on how to make the windows boot drive. https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/wind...

If you want to do the clone method then let me know and I can guide you with that one also.

I plan on doing a fresh install from a flash drive. I mostly think I will just need a map guiding me thru the bios before and after the installing the os. I apologize im just really trying not to break or brick my computer. Im not really experienced navigating my way thru there, The links are really helpful tho i apreciate it thank you.

@Augustus Pappas No problem. Doing this will not break your computer, just take your time and follow the steps. You won't need to change anything in the bios. If you do the USB boot drive correctly it will auto start when you turn on the computer because it will be looking for a boot image and since the hard drive will be blank, it will choose the usb drive. And a good thing about this is you are doing a clean install on a new drive, so you will still have your old drive that,s working in case it doesn't work. Do let me know if you need anything else and I will be glad to help.
