I can't fix my camera

Hi, I dropped my iPhone the other month and when i did i then stood on the camera which of course cracked my screen and disabled the camera and flash working, i then replaced the screen and digitiser, which worked perfectly but then i realised that the camera and flash were still not working. So i decided after researching for hours and hours on what to do i decided to go off what majority of people had said.. to order a new camera part. So i did, it came, i replaced the old one and STILL the camera and flash are still not working!! So what on earth could the actual problem be??? i’m desperate to get this sorted.

Regards and Thanks

When a phone is dropped anything may happen to parts or board circuits. Since the most obvious attempt to replace the camera was already done without fixing the issue, you likely have a board failure there that needs a microsoldering professional, with tools and skills to fix it. Other than that, you can ask for Apple assistance where you would probably be offered a replacement phone for a price.

Yeah that's what i think is the problem too, i think i have warranty still too but i've replaced the screen so that will probably be classed as tampering from apple and i dont think they would sort it out for me would they?

Also i've accidentally went and ripped a ribbon cable and now the touch screen isnt working (great). Do you know if theres a part i can get to fix this or do i need to just get a new screen all together? thanks

@marlysmittas Unless you have the Applecare plus, damage from incidents wouldn't be covered even partially. However I would suggest you try anyway if you have an Apple Service near you, no harm to hear what they would offer as alternative. Ribbon cables are usually just soldered to parts and can't be fixed unfortunately.
