Smart-cover switch not responding... on 3 consecutive displays

replaced my 12.9 screen due to a crack.

bought the new one from iFixit.

new screen arrives and I swap it out.

power back up after and the display looks great… for about a week or two

then the screen begins to glitch out, vertical and horizontal lines across display and lots of “snow”, it is almost impossible to see the screen.

iFixit sent replacement #2

on #2 touch-id no longer works, and my screen cover no longer turns off the ipad when it closes. swapped back to rep1, screen glitching but hall sw and touch id work.

on replacement#3 touch-id works but hall switch does not….swapped back to rep1, screen glitching but hall sw and touch id work.

replacement-4 same as 3.. touch-id works but hall switch does not….swapped back to rep1, screen glitching but hall sw and touch id work.

what am I missing here…?

each of these bad displays has been proved bad by swapping back to replacement1

is iFixit selling bad displays? is there a connector in particular that is common to these that could be causing this?

I just want a functional iPad!
