I have two 55” Samsung TV’s. One is 4K (cracked screen) and the other is 1080P. Can I use the 1080P screen as a replacement for the 4K screen?

legacy184 to start. you will need the datasheet for both panels. Then compare the connections to the LCD screen and the compatibility of those. The labels on the back of the screen will tell you who made them and what exact model those are. Try to find the datasheet with that info. Most likely that they won’t fit because of the connections.

it is a good question. For first, you have to analyse hardware of 4K TV and HD TV, there may be some additional electronic for 4K TV, which will not work with HD LCD, also, you can check compatibility using part number of LCDs. If they will be compatible, it will works, but if there are some special freatures inside your television, it may damage you LCD and also electronic inside.
Exchanging LCDs are tipically for laptops, where you can find a lot of issues during this action, so proceed with caution.

tienes que ver cuanto pares LVDS hay en la tarjeta tcon , normalmente el panel full hd tiene 10 pares
y la tarjeta tcon 4k tiene 8 pares
