How do I clear cmos in this laptop

last night i turned on my laptop and a bios update was installing and then i forced stop this update by turning off the laptop because it went unresponsive and now my laptop doesn’t boot and either the screen displays on… the only thing it does is lights up the keyboard and the fan starts working 2 minutes after she turns on but there is no sign of booting

Yikes bud, that’s not good. BIOS updates are something that can very much permanently break your motherboard. It sounds like that’s what happened in your case.

I doubt it will help, but you could try following this guide to remove the battery for thirty seconds and then replug in. Looking at the first picture, the CMOS appears to be located at the bottom left, it’s the item covered in electric tape and plugged in to a white connector into the board. In order to preform a CMOS reset, you will need to remove that from the board while the battery is also unplugged, leaving it unplugged for about 15 seconds.

Once again, no guarantee it will work but it’s worth a shot.
