I tried to change the screen but it wont turn on
i tried to change my screen but when i finished it wouldn’t turn on but i can still hear the charger plug in

It sounds like the iPad is on but you just can’t see anything. Hopefully its just the screen but if it did this with the old screen, it might be a backlight issue. That is a lab repair that requires micro-soldering.

Also if the battery was never disconnected I recommend reseating the battery connector as sometimes that will work.
Note that when unplugging or plugging in the screen make sure battery is disconnected as that can cause the backlight filter to blow if it is still plugged in.
