i would like to ask if its a good idea to buy a broken iPhone 4 on ebay, in order to repair it?
Because I've spotted out such a broken iPhone 4.

and just like mayer says, unless you know for sure what needs to be repaired you may get in over your head (and wallet). Consider cost of new parts and your skill level. It is amazing how many times we add to the repair by causing additional damage during dis-assembly. Good Luck

I'll get a water damaged iPhone i guess. if I got the time, I'll do a (hopefully successful) water damage repair guide for iPhone 4, nice ? :D

I'd say (thanks to recent experience) that water damage is russian roulette. A lot of people are advertising as water damage but what they don't say is how long ago and what type of "water" it was. I've had 2 out of 4 turn out to be damaged beyond financial repair. If you want to buy damaged and repair, then go for a broken screen or look at feedback/recent goods sold...
even if the logic board seems to be working (like able to connect to iTunes like usual) and do this vibrator thing when it gets plugged in?

After searching completed auctions for broken iPhone 4s on eBay it appears that the median price is around $300 (US). If you get a good deal and are confident that you can repair the issue then it may be worth the gamble. However, I'm guessing it won't be worth it.
