Why is there no sound from my ipad?
What I do is attach ear plugs to be able to listen to the sound.. what is the matter with the ipad?

You may have main speaker failure. Please give more info, like what have you tried, what conditions is the iPad in on a regular basis, has the devoice been dropped of had any water damage or been opened?

This means that your loud speaker is broken it will need to be replaced.
