Why wont the charging port work for my earbuds
It charges, but wont let me listen to music

Agreed with above. You can take some small tipped tweezers and gently pull out any lint. Also recommend taking some denatured alcohol to the contact points. Have you tried other usb c headphones?

Is it possible it just needs cleaned out? Just a little lint in the charging port for my iphone and it wont charge or will charge but not transfer data or audio. You can clean it out with a toothpick and q-tip or air duster.
