55LS4500 No Picture not sure on Sound

Came home to tv of almost two years with blank screen but can see back light on. Menu wouldn’t pop up when prompted. Changed inputs via the back no change. Did a bit of research might be T-con or Main board. Would like more input before I pay for something I might not need. Last night did more troubleshooting with back panel off and playstation connected to HDMI and turned on and still blank screen, unplugged the right side ribbon from T-Con and got half the screen to show.

was able to get menu to pop up and switched the input to hdmi and could see half the playstation welcome screen. no sound though. Can see on the Main board the optic connection for audio is lit up. also in this pic you can see the part on my powerboard looks either be blown or is this an adhesive used during manufacture.

here is an image of the ability to see the back light on to for reference. and to the next photo is of the screen split, the dark side is how the entire screen looked when I got home. it only just not when trouble shooting with t-con did it look split.
