Broken LCD connector on logic board

Ok. So I did a really stupid thing and thought the connectors were like iPhones and pry’d the lcd connector off logic board. Do I need to buy another logic board or is this an easy fix?

Fixing that would definitely require microsoldering. I’m not a soldering expert, so I can’t really say whether or not there’s damage to the solder pads themselves which would cause a bigger issue repairing them, but even best-case only the connector needs to be replaced, that’ll still typically cost you $90-$150 or so from a microsoldering company. Honestly it definitely isn’t an easy fix and it’s probably more cost effective to just buy a used iPad 4 from some marketplace and replace it entirely.

iFixit does sell used logic boards but it doesn’t make too much sense to me when you can buy the entire unit used for $100-$130.
