Xbox One Sync Button Makes Sound But No Syncing

So my console sync button makes a sound when you press it, but the console doesn't start blinking like it would normally to sync the console. My son synched all the controllers to his console, now trying to sync them back to the main family console and I can't sync any at all.

I have the same issue. The controllers work, are charged, and can connect to the PC. The problem is that the console doesn't enter pairing mode and start blinking. I followed the instructions, opened the console, and removed the casing. The Sync button is okay. Hard reset and factory settings didn't fix the issue. When I press the Sync button, I hear a dull sound, but nothing happens. Connecting the controllers via cable works, but I want to reconnect via Bluetooth. Does anyone have a solution?
