Hello,
I recently acquired a one step 2 that I found at a thrift store for 3 bucks. But I knew it was too good to be true when it would not charge. Is there a specific charger I need for this. I tried a standard micro usb but it seems to not be working. I don’t get any indication it’s charging or working.

Hi,
I recently purchased a SONY Cybershot DSC-W55 from the Goodwill store for ~$6 and am having the same issue.
I first changed the battery to verify the battery wasn’t the issue.
I did a video here regarding. I did get to work other than I assume the on-board charging module or a pin relating to charging is damaged.

I'll try to update this post once I get to tearing down, if I do..., to see about a way to repair and/or hack a charger. Might be able to hack one onboard with a TP4056 with protection module or something smaller. This is most likely going to be a stereo-microscope repair unless I can get wire leads onto where the battery connects through the bottom cover and maybe pot (with epoxy or high temp glue gun) the TP4056 with protection module onto the battery cover or maybe better I was thinking on the front next to the lens since there is free area that won't get into the way.
