Hit a pothole 8 months ago and lost use of brakes entirely for a few minutes, Eventually brakes recovered after continuous pumping of brake pedal. Since then it has done it several times while driving without even hitting potholes or any uneven surface on the road. Have serviced four wheels and replaced Master Cylinder and it still happens.

I would have a mechanic check your break lines, and maybe a search to see if there is some sort of sensor for your ABS

There are four sensors, one on each wheel. Then there is the ECU which controls the ABS breaking process. Nissan Dealer has checked all of that but has revealed nothing out of the ordinary. When this problem happens not even the brake malfunction light on the dashboard lights up…. Poltergeist?
